“Schlumpf” is the german word for “Schtroumpf”.

And then there was that one time when the “Grand Schtroumpf” made a potion so they all turned red, to pretend they were actually beings from another planet – the “schlips”. Or “swoofs” in english.

Yes, it´s a strange and beautiful world out there.

Actually, it’s “Schtroumpf” (which I find much more appealing than “Smurf”). I have an upcoming post about them.

No, I’m not kidding.

But, yeah, schlub is much better. Advice taken.

“Schlumpf?” Isn’t that the Belgian word for “Smurf?” I propose that the term be changed to the more commonly-used “schlub.” I mean, this is really just murdering the Yiddish language.

Otherwise, full steam ahead.
